Furovision is here yet again!

Are you ready to sing in front of a grand jury of your peers? Then Furovision is where you belong!
NordicFuzzCon’s very own singing competition, judged 50/50 by a four person jury and the audience itself.
Choose a song for yourself, send in an audition, and cross your paws. The 10 best auditions will be chosen to compete live on stage at this year's convention.

Rules

  • Both group acts and solo acts are welcome.
  • A group can have up to 4 members.
  • The song can be 3 minutes and 30 seconds long at the most.
  • You must provide your own backing track.
  • The backing track can not contain lead vocals or other effects that can make it difficult to distinguish your voice.

About the form

  • You will be asked to provide a link to a video of you singing. The clip does not have to be new, or with the song you wish to sing. To heighten your chances we recommend that you use a clip that is less than a year old, features a song that is similar to the one you wish to sing in complexity, has good audio quality, and does not use any filters or effects.
  • You must decide upon which song you wish to perform before submitting the form.
  • Our visual design team will need to start working on your show almost immediately, so please provide any staging wishes you have in the form. Once work has begun it might not be possible to make changes.

Something to keep in mind

Furovision is a time consuming commitment. If you are chosen you will have to provide us with a backing track of high enough quality to use in the live show. There will be two rehearsals. A first rehearsal where everyone will get to perform their song once and make sure everything works, and a dress rehearsal immediately before the show itself on Saturday The first rehearsal takes 90-120 minutes from start to finish, but you may leave once you have rehearsed. The dress rehearsal and show combined will take around 5 hours with limited possibilities to leave.
