Rules of Admittance

• Attendees must be at least 18 years old for the entire time they attend the convention.
• The NordicFuzzCon Board may permit an attendee to bring children (age 3 or younger). The attendee will be legally, economically and otherwise responsible for any children they have brought for the duration of the convention.
• Attendees are required to present their legal photo ID or passport at check-in time. Your ID details must match the information in our electronic records.
• Day ticket validity is from 09:00 until 03:00 the next day, or until 30 minutes after the last scheduled event of the day ends, whichever comes last.
• All attendees are required to follow the Rules of Conduct while at the event. This includes any additional days booked ahead of or after the convention. Non-compliance is subject to sanctions.
• The convention badge remains property of the convention until one day after the convention ends. If your convention badge is confiscated during the convention, you may request that it be returned to you at your cost after the convention is over. Your request must be received no later than June 30th of the year of the convention.
• NordicFuzzCon is a private event, and we reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or revoke registrations for any reason.

Registration and Payment

• In order to take part in the convention, you are required to register through our online registration system. Registrations or ticket purchases through any other means are null and void.
• Registrations are subject to screening by registration staff. You will receive an e-mail with all necessary payment information as soon as your registration has been approved.
• We currently accept payments only through bank transfer, Swish, or credit card.
• All convention fees, hotel fees, and other optional packages are due within 7 calendar days after your registration has been approved.
• If we do not receive the payment or proof of a payment within 7 days after your registration has been approved, your registration (including hotel booking) may be cancelled.
• Overpayment policy: In case of overpayment of 30 SEK or less by attendees, this overpayment will not be refunded.
• Your booking is not valid and confirmed until you receive a badge number.
• While we always try to accommodate the wishes of attendees, the convention reserves the right to move attendees from one hotel room to another at any time for any reason, in exceptional circumstances.
• In case of an attendance cap imposed by national or local authorities making it impossible to accommodate all registered attendees on site, the convention reserves the right to cancel registrations. If this happens, the convention will endeavour to refund or roll over your registration.
• You can request an invoice for your registration from the registration team.

Cancellation/Ticket Transfer

• Tickets (including all fees, extras, and hotel rooms booked through us) are not refundable.
• Tickets (including all extras and bookings attached to them) can be transferred. Both parties must send an e-mail to [email protected] using the email they signed up with, along with their Auth0/Portal login emails, to confirm the transfer. Optionally, this process may be available on the website, which then replaces the above procedure.
• Ticket transfers must be cleared by the convention ahead of time in all cases. Any person showing up at the convention who is not in our database will not be admitted in someone else’s name.
• In case the event is cancelled due to insufficient attendance, all payments to NordicFuzzCon (ticket, hotel) will be refunded, with the exception of processing and administrative fees. Any other expenses, such as travel costs or other expenses not with NordicFuzzCon, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• In case NordicFuzzCon is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances, such as COVID developments, revocation of hotel contract between NordicFuzzCon and the venue, or force majeure, the convention will endeavour to refund all payments to NordicFuzzCon (ticket, hotel), with the exception of processing and administrative fees. Any other expenses, such as travel costs or other expenses not with NordicFuzzCon, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• If you are unable to attend NordicFuzzCon due to travel restrictions, NordicFuzzCon is not obligated to refund your payments.

Liability

• Except for liabilities required by Swedish law, NordicFuzzCon will not be responsible for any damage done by or to attendees.
• In no event shall NordicFuzzCon be liable for losses or damages occurring outside the hotel and venue premises.
• NordicFuzzCon does not accept any liability resulting from loss or damage of property.

• While we of course do respect your privacy – NordicFuzzCon is not an anonymous event.
• You will be required to carry a name badge that serves as your admission ticket and identifies you with your nickname, registration number, and country. Your nickname may be included in NordicFuzzCon related publications such as the conbook, website, or videos (e.g., as part of the credits, the sponsor listing, etc.).
