Rules of Admittance

• Attendees must be at least 18 years old for the entire time they attend the convention.
• NordicFuzzCon permits attendees to bring children (age 3 or younger). The attendee will bear complete responsibility for any children they have brought for the duration of the convention. The board might grant exceptions to these rules on a case by case basis.
• Attendees are required to present their legal photo ID or passport at check-in time. Your ID details must match the information in our electronic records. No attendee badge will be issued without our check-in team seeing your photo ID or passport.
• Day ticket validity is from 09:00 until 03:00 the next day, or until 30 minutes after the last scheduled event of the day ends, whichever comes last.
• All attendees and staff are required to follow the Rules of Conduct while at the event. This includes any additional days booked ahead of or after the convention. Non-compliance is subject to sanctions.
• The convention badge remains property of the convention until one day after the convention ends. If your convention badge is confiscated during the convention, you may request that it be returned to you at your cost after the convention is over. Your request must be received no later than June 30th of the year of the convention. Your request must be sent to legal@nordicfuzzcon.org.
• NordicFuzzCon is a private event, and we reserve the right to refuse registrations for any reason. We may cancel or revoke a confirmed registration based on these terms.
• If a particular space or hotel room reaches maximum capacity, NordicFuzzCon Security reserves the right to remove people from that space for safety reasons and to deny further access. NordicFuzzCon is not obligated to arrange for alternate venues or in any way guarantee access to that particular space for any attendee.
• If you are expelled from the convention by NordicFuzzCon Security, the venue(s), or the hotel(s) because of your conduct, you forfeit any rooms, bookings, or goods sold to you by NordicFuzzCon as part of your registration for the convention. You will not be provided with a different room by NordicFuzzCon. You may contact registration regarding delivery of goods after the convention. The delivery may be done at your own expense. NordicFuzzCon Security reserves the right to inform any roommates or the hotel of the nature of the reason for which you will not be returning to the room.

Registration and Payment

• In order to take part in the convention, you are required to register through our online registration system. Registrations or ticket purchases through any other means are null and void.
• If your registration is discovered to be fraudulent, NordicFuzzCon reserves the right to deny you service of any kind and cancel any existing registrations.
• Registrations are subject to screening by registration staff. You will receive an e-mail with all necessary payment information as soon as your registration has been approved.
• We currently accept payments only through bank transfer, Swish, or credit card.
• All convention fees, hotel fees, and other optional extras are due within 7 calendar days after your registration has been approved.
• If we do not receive the payment within 7 days after your registration has been approved, and you have not sent an e-mail to registration, your registration (including hotel booking) may be cancelled.
• Overpayment policy: In case of overpayment of 30 SEK or less, this overpayment will not be refunded.
• Your booking is neither valid nor confirmed until you receive a badge number.
• While we always try to accommodate the wishes of attendees, we may move you to another room of the same or a higher standard where this is necessary for operational or safety reasons. If we need to make a significant change to your accommodation, the rules under “Hotel Rooms and Package Travel” below apply.
• In case of an attendance cap imposed by national or local authorities making it impossible to accommodate all registered attendees on site, the convention reserves the right to cancel registrations. If this happens, you will receive a full refund. We may instead offer to roll your registration over to the next convention, but only if you accept.
• You can request an invoice for your registration from the registration team by contacting registration@nordicfuzzcon.org.

Cancellation/Ticket Transfer

• Tickets (including all fees and extras) are not refundable. As the convention takes place on specific dates, there is no right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005: 59) if you have booked a hotel room from us, see “Hotel Rooms and Package Travel” below.
• Tickets (including all extras and bookings attached to them) can be transferred. Transfers can be initiated by the seller and be completed by the buyer on the NordicFuzzCon registration website. NordicFuzzCon reserves the right to deny a request for any reason. Any/all payments for the transfer including all items are solely between the buyer and seller, and NordicFuzzCon takes no responsibility.
• Ticket transfers must be cleared by the convention ahead of time in all cases. Any person showing up at the convention who is not in our database will not be admitted in someone else’s name.
• In case the event is cancelled due to insufficient attendance (i.e. under 5000), all payments to NordicFuzzCon (ticket, hotel) will be refunded. Any other expenses, such as travel costs or other expenses not with NordicFuzzCon, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• No cancellation fee is charged, and all amounts paid are refunded in full, where the performance of the package is materially affected by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (ex. Force majeure, pandemic, etc.) occurring at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination, or where the carriage of passengers to the destination is materially affected by such circumstances.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be made within 14 days.
• If you are unable to attend NordicFuzzCon due to travel restrictions, NordicFuzzCon is not obligated to refund your payments. This does not apply if you have booked a hotel room from us; see “Hotel Rooms and Package Travel” below.
• If you choose to delete your account with NordicFuzzCon and you have not purchased anything for the upcoming convention, your account will be deleted. If you have purchased something for the upcoming convention, the cancellation procedure above will be applied prior to your account being deleted.
• Any person found to have engaged in scamming or otherwise profiting off of other attendees through the sale or transfer of a ticket risks expulsion from the event and / or a ban from future events.

Hotel Rooms and Package Travel

• This section applies if you book a hotel room, or another travel service, from NordicFuzzCon together with your registration. The combination is then a package under the Swedish Package Travel Act (2018:1217) (a “Package”), and the rules in this section take precedence over the general rules above. Your Package starts on the day the first service in it is provided, normally the first night of your hotel stay. A registration without accommodation or another travel service is not a Package, and this section does not apply to it.
• Shared rooms: The attendee who books and pays for a room (the “Room Holder”) does so for themselves and for the attendees registered to stay in it (“Roommates”). The Room Holder is our contracting party for the room, receives all notices about it, must pass them on to the Roommates, and makes all decisions about the room on their behalf. Refunds for the room are paid to the Room Holder. Payments between the Room Holder and the Roommates are a matter between them.
• You are responsible for travelling with a valid passport or, where accepted, a national ID card, and for obtaining any visa required for entry into Sweden. Schengen visa applications are normally decided within 15 days and can take up to 45 days, so apply well in advance. No health formalities currently apply for entry into Sweden.
• If we need to make a significant change to your accommodation before your Package starts, such as moving you to a hotel of a lower standard or in a substantially less convenient location, we will tell you without undue delay. You may then, within the time stated in our notice, either accept the change or cancel your Package free of charge and receive a full refund. If you do not reply in time, you are deemed to have accepted the change.
• You may cancel your Package at any time before it starts by e-mail to registration@nordicfuzzcon.org. We charge a 100% cancellation fee if you choose to cancel after you have paid. See “Ticket Transfer” above. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation costs.
• You may cancel free of charge if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at or near Malmö, or affecting travel to Malmö, significantly affect your Package. Your own circumstances, such as illness or a refused visa, are not covered.
• The convention will only take place if at least 5000 attendees have registered. If fewer have registered, we may cancel your Package by notifying you no later than 20 days before it starts. We may also cancel it if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances prevent us from performing it. In both cases you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us, but no further compensation.
• Refunds are paid no later than 14 days after the cancellation.
• You may transfer your Package to someone who meets the conditions for attending the convention, provided that you tell us at least 7 days before it starts.
• We are responsible for the proper performance of all services included in your package, including those provided by the hotels. If a service is not provided as agreed, tell us without undue delay. Please contact the service provider directly first to see if the problem can be fixed directly. Additionally, you can reach out to registration@nordicfuzzcon.org, so that we can put it right. You are entitled to a price reduction and to compensation for damage under the Package Travel Act, and we will provide appropriate assistance if you are in difficulty during your Package.
• If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may refer it to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se.
• NordicFuzzCon AB has provided a travel guarantee for Packages under the Swedish Travel Guarantee Act (2018:1218). If a Package is not performed because of our insolvency, the guarantee covers repayment of what you have paid for it. Liability

• Except for liabilities required by Swedish law, NordicFuzzCon will not be responsible for any damage done by or to attendees.
• NordicFuzzCon does not accept any liability resulting from loss or damage of property regardless of whether this is inside the convention spaces or outside the hotel or venue premises.
• These limitations do not apply where liability follows from mandatory Swedish law, including our responsibility as organiser under the Swedish Package Travel Act, or where we have caused the loss or damage intentionally or through negligence.

• While we of course do respect your privacy – NordicFuzzCon is not an anonymous event. You will be required to carry a name badge that serves as your admission ticket and identifies you with your nickname, registration number, and country.

Association

NordicFuzzCon is a registered Swedish organisation with organisation number 802467-4924. Tickets, accommodation and extras are sold by NordicFuzzCon AB, organisation number 559041-6425, which is your contracting party and the organiser of any Package.
