Registration FAQ

  • You can book a hotel room through the convention or book a hotel yourself and just buy a convention ticket.
  • If you book a twin, triple or four bed room, remember to invite your roommates to the roomshare.
  • As always, we also offer merchandise, sponsor upgrades and tickets for special events.
  • NordicFuzzCon is a cash free convention. On-site you can only pay with a credit card or swish
  • Want to run an event? When event submissions are open and you can submit your event.
  • Want to help out as Staff? Check out our volunteer page for open positions.
  • Registration for NordicFuzzCon will open on 7th of October, 2023 at 20:00 CEST
  • All our social media channels can be found here.

To register for the convention, you will need an account on our website. Accounts from previous years can be used again and if you don’t have one already, it is highly recommended to create one before the registration for the convention opens to speed up the registration process.

The convention is happening between 21st and 25th of February 2024

All attendees have to be 18 or older from the first day of the convention.

The badge numbers are assigned according to the time of payment, not the time of registration. So it's possible to get a lower badge number than someone who signed up before you if you're faster at paying with a credit card.

You can do this yourself on your account page once you have registered.

We accept bank transfers, Swish and credit cards. We do not currently accept PayPal.

You must present some form of valid photo ID with your date of birth on it at registration, such as a passport, driver's license or national ID Card. If you are unsure whether your form of ID is acceptable or not, then please e-mail [email protected] well in advance of the convention for confirmation as to its acceptance.

Your booking has to be paid in full within 7 days of it being approved.
Please note that bank transfers can possibly take several days to arrive to us and thus should be done as soon as possible. Please contact [email protected] if your payment hasn’t been registered yet and the 7 day deadline is approaching, as bookings which haven’t been paid for within 7 days are removed.

NFC has a no refunds policy but you can transfer your registration to someone else. See question 'Can I transfer my booking to someone?' above.

We try really hard to make NFC as inclusive and welcoming for everyone, including disabled furs. Our hotels have some accessible rooms available, and we have various adjustments around the convention spaces for those who need them.
Please indicate during the registration in the "Comments and Additional information" field if you require a room with special additions, like for example - a room / shower fit to accommodate a wheelchair or a shower with a chair, etc. and we will try to accommodate you the best way we can.
If you'd like to contact us about accessibility, please email [email protected]

Payment FAQ

How to pay for your registration?

You have 7 days to pay after your registration has been approved.

To pay, you will have to use bank transfer, Swish (Swedish banks only), or credit card. Unfortunately, we do not accept PayPal.
Please note that a bank fee of 1.8% of each payment done is required by all our current payment options.

Once you have registered you will receive an e-mail containing all the information you need for paying. You can also visit the booking page to view your current status and pay. Please note that registrations are manually screened, so it may take a little while before your booking confirmation email arrives. There's no need to panic!

The room prices are per room, and if you wish to share a room with someone you organise this on your own. Please check the Room Share FAQ section further below for more information.

For information about prices, please see the registration information page.

If you have any questions or experience any problems, please send an e-mail to [email protected].

How can I pay during the convention?

NordicFuzzCon is a cash free convention. On-site you can only pay with a credit card or swish (for Swedish bank accounts). This includes convention check-in, the con store, and most of the hotels (including the Clarion). Our Charity team also prefers card, but Swedish cash donations are still accepted.

Swish

All major Swedish banks have started a collaboration for simpler, faster money transfers among people and organisations. This collaboration is an app called Swish. The app enables money to be sent and received instantly, regardless of your bank!

We at NordicFuzzCon embrace Swish: It's very fast and convenient, and we encourage all of you Swedish furs out there to pay your NordicFuzzCon invoice using Swish instead of a credit card or regular bank transfer! In order to do this, you will need to activate Swish for your Swedish bank account. You can do this through your Internet bank or by calling your bank.

When you activate Swish you will have to decide on a limit for the maximum amount of money you can spend per day. This can be changed later. You may have to set this limit sufficiently large to comfortably pay for your NFC room and registration with any extras. Alternatively, most banks let you specify a different limit for one specific day only, which can be useful when you need to pay for something more expensive like the NordicFuzzCon hotel or convention ticket. You can increase your limit for one day only by contacting your bank.

Book a room FAQ

We are changing how you get accommodation at NordicFuzzcon:
From now on you will no longer be able to book a slot in a room but a whole room instead. You will buy the entire room and then add your roommates.

The person who books the room is also the one who has to pay entirely for it. This includes the extra days (early/late) if they were booked. This means you will have to individually sort out how to divide those costs.
Before you pay someone for a slot in their room, make sure they have actually booked a room by having them add you to their room share before you send the money.

Yes, the room will be yours (since you’re paying for it). Your roommates must be added and listed for the room. Only if they are added will they benefit from the hotel breakfast or be able to check in.

Single rooms are for one person only. For twin, triple or four bed rooms you need to remember to add your room share partners. You can do this once both you and the other people have paid.

Early arrival gives you an extra hotel night before the convention. Late departure allows you to stay one night longer. These are extras that can be selected during the registration process, with add-on costs as listed on our registration information page.

Yes, you can select these days on your booking. If there are no rooms available, you can join the waiting list in case more rooms become available for those days. If you have already paid, you will have to email registration to add additional days.

Yes, you can change to another room category on your booking page as long as the room you want is available and you have not paid yet. If the room you want is not available you can still join the waiting list, but then you lose your original room.

It will not be possible to pick a different room type for different days. The room type you book is the room type you will be staying in for the entirety of your stay.

You can release a room you have booked if you do not need it anymore. This could for example be because your friend has booked a room for both of you. As long as you haven't paid, you can use the button “remove” on your booking page to remove the room from your booking.

Room Transfer FAQ

Yes, you can transfer your entire booking to another person, once it is fully paid. The person who should get your booking needs to have a valid account on our website, but must not already have an existing booking. Both you and the other person need to send an e-mail to [email protected] in which you tell us who should get your booking / the other person confirms that they want to get your booking, respectively. Please make sure to use the same e-mail address that you have used for your registration!

No, only entire bookings can be transferred.

If it’s a physical item like, for example a t-shirt or sponsor gifts then you can always give them away in person, after you have picked them up at the convention.
Other products like rooms or sponsorships, only can be transferred along with the entire booking.

If you haven’t paid for the room then the convention can take it back, but if you have already paid for it then you need to transfer your entire booking to somebody else and register again.

No, only bookings that are fully paid can be transferred.

Yes, but only as long as you haven't paid for the product yet. As soon as you have made a payment for it, it will not be possible to exchange or remove it from your booking.
For any product removal/change requests, please contact [email protected]

No, a booking can only be transferred to somebody who doesn’t already have one.

That person can either request their booking to be removed or transferred to another person who doesn’t have one already, but in case of already paid bookings we are not able to issue refunds.
They can always try to sell it to somebody else and inform [email protected] afterwards about the sale.

Every person with a paid booking can generate a unique code on their booking page, and enter the email of a potential buyer. You can give them your email and ask them for their code. If they give it to you, you can send that code to [email protected]. Registration then will use that code along with your email to verify that the person making an offer actually has a booking. They also can give you details about the person's booking, including products on it and the total value of the booking.
If you are worried, please do not send any payment before registration has confirmed that the seller is genuine!

On your booking page, after you have received your badge number, there is a section called “Booking actions”, where you can find a button to generate unique code and a field to enter the email of a potential buyer. This code you can give to a person that has expressed interest in buying your booking. They can then send that code to [email protected], who then will share information about your booking with the potential buyer if their email matches the email you have entered.
This code is only meant to be used once, so please only give it to one person. If the person who was interested declines to buy your booking after receiving your code, you can always generate a new code on your booking page for a new interested person, which will then render the previous code invalid.
Do not share your code publicly! Reset your code immediately, if you are worried that it might be abused, or have been shared with other people who should not receive it!

No, it is not a requirement, but highly recommended to use a transfer code, especially if the other person is not a friend or someone you trust 100%.
Whoever sends a code to registration, will be able to get information about the associated booking (all products and the total value of the booking), as long as the owner of the booking does not reset it.

Room share FAQ

Room Sharing

Please read this page carefully, since it answers many common questions about how room sharing works at NordicFuzzCon.

When can I set up room sharing?

You will be able to create a room share with other attendees once your payment has been registered and you have received your badge number, which is required to set up room shares. Room shares can be set up on your account page until January 14th, 2024.

How do I set up a room share?

Only a person who has booked a room can set up room shares. If you haven’t booked a room but would like to join someone else’s room, they have to invite you through their booking page.

If you have booked a room and want to invite someone, log in to the NordicFuzzCon website and navigate to your booking page. Click the “Room shares'' button under the Accommodation section.

On the Room Shares page, the second section should contain buttons for every period of the days that you have booked a hotel room on.

In order to set up a room share you will have to select the “Main days” and enter the Badge number of every person you would like to invite to your room.

The invited people will receive an eMail regarding your invite and will have the option of accepting or declining your invitation on their room share page. Everyone involved will also receive confirmation emails when room share invitations are sent, accepted, or declined.

It is only possible to share a room with people who have registered and fully paid their registration. Note that only the person who has booked the room will be able to send additional invitations to add more people to the room share.

Any questions?

If you have questions regarding any of the above or regarding your booking then, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected].

If your question was not answered in this FAQ, it might be answered elsewhere on our site. Make sure to check out the registration information page, as well as the good to know page.

Only the person who has booked the room has control over who gets to stay in their room. This means, they can freely add but also remove people from their room. Therefore, we can unfortunately not help you if the room owner decides to remove you from their room.

If the room owner decides to transfer their booking, the room share will get reset, which means that all people will be removed from that room automatically and it will be up to the new owner of the room to add people.

After the deadline, we will submit the entire guest list to the hotels, so from that moment on room shares cannot be changed anymore on our website. If for some reason, you still need to add or remove people from your room, or remove yourself from someone’s room, you can send an eMail to [email protected], so we can forward the information to the hotel.
For any last minute changes, we kindly ask you to arrange this with the hotel directly when you arrive.

If you have questions regarding any of the above or regarding your booking then, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected].
If your question was not mentioned on this page, it might be answered elsewhere on our site. You might want to take a look at our page dedicated to other frequently asked hotel-related questions which are not about room sharing.

You can book the early or late days to your room and then come on the main days yourself. If your
roommates are on the list for the room they will be able to check in. You will have to talk it out how you want to split the costs.

This will be the same as previous years. Once you have paid the con fee and have received your badge number you can invite your friend(s) who also have received their badge number. They can then accept the roomshare on their end.

Yes! Only when you are officially sharing the room can you room together. Once you are in the room share, you will be able to see the dates of booking (i.e. monday to monday, main days, etc.), check-in at the hotel once you arrive, eat the hotel breakfast, get a keycard to access the room.

No. The room share is valid for the entirety of the days which have been booked.

The owner of the room has the responsibility to look out for the room shares and find someone to room with. There will be a system on the website where you can enter that you are looking for someone to share your room with.

If a stranger is offering to share a room with you, you can make sure they have actually booked a room by having them add you to the roomshare before you pay. If you are adding someone to your roomshare and they don't pay you, you can remove them from the roomshare on your booking page.

Room Type FAQ

Room types

At Clarion Malmö Live you can select from three different room types. Normal rooms are for your standard con experience, where you can have friends over and party. Quiet rooms are for those who want to use their rooms for resting only, and wish to keep it quiet. Buffer rooms are in-between these two room types, and have more relaxed rules than the quiet rooms.

Regular room rules

  • Room parties should not disturb neighbours after 00:00
  • Room doors have to be closed after 00:00
  • No noise in the hallways after 00:00

Buffer room rules

  • No room parties after 22:00
  • No music after 22:00
  • No noise in the hallways after 22:00

Quiet room rules

  • No music at any time
  • No room parties at any time
  • No extra people in the room after 22:00
  • No noise in the hallways at any time

The option to apply for a quiet or buffer room will appear when you create your room share after registration, though please note that this is only to indicate your wish to stay on a specific room type floor. We try our best to accommodate everybody, but there is no guarantee that you will end up on your preferred room type floor.

Like every year, room parties and other social gatherings are allowed at all the hotels, as long as they do not get extremely noisy. Please keep the noise down after midnight and be considerate with your neighbours. Rules for partying at the convention announced on location apply. Keep in mind that the party is inside the room, partying in the hallway is not permitted.

Yes, but please be mindful of the fact the quiet floors are also used by NFC staff that work during the night. Keep the noise down to allow them their sleep.

If you want to spend the evening hanging out with friends, please go to the lobby or to your friends' regular rooms.

Yes, but take note you’re on the buffer floor: don’t turn it into a loud room party. Normal conversation level is fine.

Please tell them to be quiet or feel free to contact security through the phone number on the back of your attendee badge or through @medicurity on telegram. Keep in mind security only respond to noise complaints at Clarion Malmö Live. If you have a noise complaint at a different hotel, please contact the appropriate hotel reception.

General hotel FAQ

If you don't see an answer to your question down below, you can always send us an email at [email protected]

Where are the hotels located?

A map showing this is available here:

General Hotel FAQ

All hotels offer free Wi-Fi for attendees staying at them, and the convention hotel offers free Wi-Fi for all attendees. As the Wi-Fi might be crowded at the convention hotel, we ask people to try and limit themselves to just one device each or get a prepaid sim-card with a data plan.

A map showing this is available here.

Yes, there is a limited amount of rooms for this in most hotels. Please make sure to fill in the specific question during the registration process. If any additional information is needed you can contact [email protected] before you book!
If you have any general accessibility questions about what support is available at NFC for disabled people, please email [email protected].

Yes, but only at certain hotels. Also we only allow dogs and only in certain areas where special rules apply. Please contact [email protected] before you book and do not forget to tick the appropriate checkbox during registration. If you are bringing a dog, and not a service animal (like a seeing eye dog), cleaning fees will apply. All pets must be pre-approved before they are allowed to attend the convention.

Yes. However, if you are sending or ordering items directly to your hotel, please make sure that the package contains your full name (as written in your passport) along with the name of the convention. The address to the different hotels can be found on the respective hotel page.
You may not solely write NordicFuzzCon on the package. We need your badge name, badge number as well as legal name to trace it to you.
NordicFuzzCon takes no responsibility for items ordered or shipped directly to any of the hotels.

Some rooms at Clarion Malmö Live have a small minibar but you will have to pay 160 SEK (~16 EUR) at the reception to unlock them. There are ice machines on certain floors so you will be able to cool your drinks.

Do-not-disturb signs will be respected until they are taken down, but if they are up past 11:00 in the morning, your room might not be cleaned on that day. Also, please do not leave do-not-disturb signs up four days in a row – the hotel would very much like to get access to tidy up your room for you.

Like every year, room parties and other social gatherings are of course allowed at all the hotels, as long as they do not get extremely noisy. Please keep the noise down after midnight. Rules for partying at the convention that are posted on location apply. Please keep in mind that the party stays inside the room. Partying in the hallway is not permitted.
For buffer and quiet rooms additional rules apply.

Please read more here about the quiet and buffer rooms.

Please politely tell the hotel front desk about the issues you are having with your room, as they might be able to help you resolve these. If, for example, your room is too hot, you could get a key to open a window; if it's too cold, the hotel might have heaters you can borrow. If you feel like someone else should handle this matter for you, ask someone from NFC staff and crew nicely.

If you cannot find the answer you seek here (or on the other pages linked at the top of this page), or if anything is unclear, please e-mail your questions to [email protected].

If you are staying at the Clarion Hotel (convention centre), the Moment Hotel, or any of the Elite Hotels, you may put up a door sign in a non-destructive manner. To do so, please use Blu Tack.
However, if you are staying with Best Western, please do not put up door signs, as they are not allowed due to fire regulations.
Please do not forget to remove your door sign before your check-out.

The main hotel does not own the parking garage underneath the hotel. It is owned by Malmö municipality and the cost is 260 SEK (~26 EUR) per day for parking. Some nearby streets are free to park on.

After the registration for NFC 2024, you get the option to select if you wish to have two separate beds or one double-width bed (regardless of whether the room category has it or not), and we will try to accommodate it as best as we can. There is no guarantee that we can arrange for a specific wish, but we will do our best to make sure you get your wish fulfilled.

If you are a residential attendee (that means you are part of a room share in one of our hotels), breakfast at your hotel is included in the price. If you do not have a room at the Clarion Malmö Live you can still partake in their breakfast buffet for a fee, to be paid directly to the hotel on site. All hotels offer prolonged breakfast until 10 or 11 during the main convention days, please ask in the reception during check-in.

Yes. However, it is not permitted to eat or drink your own consumables outside of your hotel room.

Yes! Try to use it whenever possible as it’s a quick and healthy alternative to those pesky elevators that nobody likes anyways.

Yes! We are not trying to stand between you and a fun night, we just have to comply with Swedish law. Alcohol in the hotel area is only allowed in your room or purchased from the bar. When you have to move bottles to your room or from your room make sure that they are properly stashed away inside either a backpack or a solid, opaque container. This does include the underground parking. This is valid as long as you are on hotel property and only private rooms are excluded from this rule. More information here.

There will be room parties, but for a proper party during NFC it is better to join or even organise your own party at NFC's own Party Boat situated a short walk away from the hotels. You can even bring and consume your own food and beverages there and share with others.

Yes you can book it when you check in, depending on the availability. Try to check out before 12 pm as the hotel will charge you if you take too long.

Try to keep all your trash in one place. Maybe get a large trash bag and place it all in there, this will make it easier for them and you will get a clean room.

Suites FAQ

There are three suites: Mausie Suite (2 persons, Clarion Hotel Malmö Live), Iris Suite (4 persons, Clarion Hotel Malmö Live) and Esplanade Suite (2 persons, Elite Hotel Esplanade).

For prices, please look at our Registration page!

Suites cannot simply be booked like other hotel rooms. If you are interested in a suite, you will have to enter our suite lottery, which will take place after registration will have opened.

You can only enter the lottery if you have a fully paid registration for NordicFuzzCon. This means, you must at least have bought a regular convention ticket and have received a badge number, which only happens once you have paid. Then, as soon as the lottery opens, there will be an online form which you will need to fill in and submit.

Entries will be taken between Saturday, 14th of October and Friday, 27th of October, 2023. A link to the online form will be posted on our website on the opening day (October 14th) and also be shared through our official announcement channels.

We will do a short video stream of the lottery drawing on the internet. The exact date and time are still to be determined, but it will happen very early in November of 2023. All details will be announced when the lottery opens and will also be sent to each participant via email.

As with every other hotel room, you will have to pay the entire amount yourself. If you want your roommates to pay their share, you’ll have to handle this among yourselves.

If you will be drawn as a winner, you will receive an email shortly afterwards. As soon as that email is sent out, you will have 7 days to pay the entire amount. If the payment does not arrive within that time, a new winner will be drawn by us.

If you have booked a room through NordicFuzzCon and happen to win a suite, we will take it back (including any extra days) and give you the suite instead. No money will be returned though, so you only have to pay the difference between what you have already paid for your regular room and what the suite costs.

Again, as with all the rooms, you can determine yourself who’s going to join you in your suite. After winning and paying the suite, you will be able to add your desired roommates on your booking page. As always, your roommates have to be registered and fully paid attendees of NordicFuzzCon.

Just as with all the other rooms, you can only add people to your roomshare if they don’t have booked a room themselves. If someone wants to join your suite but already has a room, they will have to transfer their existing room to another person first. We will only take back the room from the suite winners, but NOT from their roommates!

Yes, every attendee who has got a fully paid registration can enter, so you can increase your odds when both you and your roommate(s) enter!

No, you can only enter the lottery for one of the three suites. On the entry form, you will have to choose for which suite you want to enter the lottery. You can however always go back to the form and change your choice until the lottery closes on 27th of October. Note that if you fill in the entry form multiple times, only your first entry will be taken into account.

Booking the main convention days (4 nights, checking in on Wednesday, 21st, checking out on Sunday, 25th of February, 2024) will be mandatory. Beyond that, you can also add extra days (Sunday 18th (Mausie and Iris suites only), Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th before and Sunday 25th after). You do not need to decide which extra days you want on entering the lottery. We will only ask for this once you have actually won a suite. These extra days can also be added to your booking at a later point.

Yes, when you give back your regular room, it does not matter which extra days you had on it. We will take them all back, regardless of whether you want to book the suite only for a shorter or longer period.

As with the regular rooms, if you want to stay in a different room/hotel for the extra days, you will have to book those yourself directly with the hotel. It will not be possible to book different rooms for different days through NordicFuzzCon.

The same rules apply as for any other room. We are not doing refunds in general, but you can always sell and transfer your booking to another person.

As long as you haven’t paid the suite, you can always rescind your lottery entry. Please contact us then as soon as possible and we will draw a new winner. However, as soon as you have paid the suite, we will not take it back nor do any refunds. You can always sell and transfer your booking to another person though.

In general, though: Please do not enter the lottery if you don’t have the money for paying a suite!

Conbook FAQ

All submissions should reflect the convention's theme, which this year is: “Ragnarök”

You can draw them any way you like, you can find Mausie’s reference sheet here and Iris’ reference sheet here.

Yes, please do!

Nope! While we certainly would love for you to attend, it's not a prerequisite for contributing to the conbook.

Playful cartoon violence is fine, but more graphic and realistic gore is not.

Yes, you can post your work! You don’t have to wait till the convention starts, let people know that you are contributing to the convention.

The conbook will be in a state of flux up until a few weeks before the convention, so we can't give any exact date on when we know for certain whether or not a piece will be used.

Submissions do not have to feature Mausie or Iris, it can be your own fursona or a friend’s.

Yes, with some caveats. For photographs, we ask that it is a photo that you have taken yourself and the subject in the photo has given consent for the photo to be used. For stories, it is limited to short stories with a maximum of 1,200 word count.

23:59 GMT, January 13th, 2024.

We do not accept outright erotic art. Tasteful nudity might be accepted. Send us an e-mail to [email protected] if you are unsure about a particular piece of art.

Yes, and other departments will be happy too! We also share the submissions we receive to be available for other departments to use.

There are a number of factors which decide what we end up using, such as: the quality of your submission, how well it fits with the convention's theme, our layout needs, how soon we get your art (the sooner the better), and how many other artists have submitted. Even if it doesn’t make it to the conbook, we share them to other departments who would love to be able to feature your art!

Please send them to [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we're able.

Dealers Den and Artist Alley FAQ

Artist Alley (AA): The Artist Alley is as the name suggests, a place for artists to offer their services. Just like the Dealers' Den, the Artist alley is a place to sell your goods and services, but this place is more ideal if you are primarily a commission-based artist (meaning you sell commissions on the spot) or artists with a small scale stock to sell. It is also ideal for the person who does not wish to commit to a full weekend of dealing and long working hours or if you just want to try out dealing at a convention.
The Artist Alley tables are located in our Valhalla venue and are based on a first-come, first-served principle. Since this space is open to all attendees, their big advantage is that these tables can also be used outside the Den opening hours. For the same reason, artists unfortunately need to clear their tables when they leave. NSFW content needs to be covered and clearly marked as such at all times. Only one table per artist.
Dealers' Den (DD): The Dealers’ Den is intended for dealers and makers of furry merchandise, physical art, books and alike, as well as artists who bring a large stock and require a more complex setup than a sketchbook and a single folder with prints. Dealers are also expected to be present and manning their tables during all hours that the Den is open.

To apply for the Dealers’ Den, click the Dealers’ button in your registration form. Artist Alley is based on a first-come, first-served principle, so just bring your items and grab a vacant table. Remember: only one table per artist.

No. To keep it fair to everyone, please email us at [email protected] to have your spot moved to the next available person on the waiting list. This way, we ensure everyone gets a fair chance at joining.

Please fill in the comment box on the application form, or email us with your request at [email protected] and we will try our best to assist you.

Yes. We in fact encourage this, as it allows more artists to get a table, but we need to know this beforehand. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss possibilities. Make sure both you and your sharing partner are registered as Dealers and have filled out the application form.

All items and services sold and offered in the AA or DD need to comply with Swedish law. It is furthermore prohibited to sell and display anything related to zoophilia, pedophilia, rape, taxidermy and symbols that represent prohibited organisations/symbols that promote hate, discrimination, harassment, violence or harassment of other people based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, age, sexual orientation, or nationality. The Dealers’ Den team always has the final say.

If the Dealers' Den spots are full but your application has been accepted, you will be put on the waiting list. Sometimes people will need to cancel their table, and their slot will be moved to the next person waiting. We will contact you with further information if that is the case. You can also try your luck with an Artist Alley table if you did not get into the Den.

We will provide power outlets to the extent it is possible to all dealers. Artist Alley will not be fitted with power outlets.

We try our best to make it work for everyone. If both you and your friend(s) have a confirmed Den spot, please contact us at [email protected]. We cannot guarantee to sit you all together, but we will certainly try, especially if your request arrives early.

Please email us at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Party Boat FAQ

Yes, people can party at numerous locations. Attendees can still hold their own room parties within their hotel rooms, whether open to everyone, or private - although it’s still necessary that they follow our convention rules, and don’t disturb neighbouring rooms with noise. More information can be found in our Rules of Conduct and in the Hotel FAQ section

The Party Boat is completely free for any attendee to attend. However, there are a small number of ticketed events. More info can be found in the NordicFuzzCon event schedule.

Yes, but with the exception of peanuts, citrus fruits and other goods that may cause airborne allergic reactions for other attendees. Remember to be considerate of others! Furthermore, if you plan to bring your own alcohol into the Party Boat, please transport it discreetly. You cannot have open containers of alcohol or drink while walking to or from the boats.

The opening and closing time for each party depends on the party organisers and us in the Party Team. But rest assured, you will be able to party from late evening to well past midnight. Specific times will be announced and published along with our schedule via NordicFuzzCons Announcement Channel.

That would be fun but, alas no! The boat will be anchored at all times.

Party Boat Organiser FAQ

The deposit may be used to cover for possible damages and cleaning fees. If everything is in good shape after your party, the money will be sent back after the convention. More information will be given once communication between your group and the Party Team begins.

Availability will depend on how many party arrangement requests we receive.

The opening and closing time for each party depends on the party organisers and the Party Team - but you’ll definitely be able to party well past midnight. Latest possible closing time for a party is at 3am. A small group of furs will also be able to clean from 3-4am.

If you want to. Another option is to advertise the party as 'bring your own booze'. We will discuss further options once communication between your group and the Party Team begins.
