The Dealers' Den and Artist Alley are the place to go if you are looking to browse and buy furry merchandise, goods and commissions. Our cozy space is always buzzing with activity, creativity and fun! So grab your friends, come in and meet the artists and merchants, browse their unique and diverse selection of wares but most importantly come and have a good time! Our artists and dealers are looking forward to welcoming you and presenting all their unique and diverse goods.

For Sellers

If you wish to apply for a spot in the Dealers' Den, please fill in the application form which will be available on your registration page once your con fee payment is complete. Spots in the Dealers’ Den are given out on a juried application basis. Please read the FAQ below for further information regarding the Dealers' Den and Artist Alley.

Artist Alley tables are free. The size of both Dealer’s Den and Artist Alley tables is 120 x 80 cm. Because of limited availability, each dealer is awarded one table; it is not possible to request additional tables so we encourage people to be creative with their table setups!

Application date and table fee

The application deadline for Dealers' Den is closing November 20 2022. Applying after this date will put you on the waiting list.

The on-site-rules for the Dealers' Den and Artist Alley will be printed and displayed on location, but can also be viewed at the convention's policy page.

The table fee for NordicFuzzCon 2023 is 200 SEK for the entire period.

Dealers' Den and Artist Alley opening hours:

  • Thursday 11 - 13 (Exclusive gold tier sponsor opening), lunch break, 14 - 17
  • Friday: 11 - 13, lunch break, 14 - 17
  • Saturday: 11 - 13, lunch break, 14 - 17:30

The official currency accepted by artists is Swedish crowns (SEK), but some vendors may also accept payment in Euros (EUR) or by card. For your convenience we recommend bringing cash with you when you shop in the Den or Alley.

Dealer’s Den and Artist Alley FAQ

I rolled over from 2022, what do I need to do?

If you already had an approved table in the Dealers' Den for NordicFuzzCon 2022 and decided to roll-over your registration, then your table is guaranteed for NFC 2023. However, you still need to make a new application and send it in before the deadline or your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list.

What is the difference between the Dealers' den and the Artist Alley?

Artist Alley (AA): The artist alley is as the name suggests, a place for artists to offer their services. Just like the Dealers' den, the Artist alley is a place to sell your goods and services but this place is more ideal if you are primarily a commission based artist (meaning you sell commissions on the spot) or artists with a small scale stock to sell. It’s also ideal for the person who does not wish to commit to a full weekend of dealing and long working hours or if you just want to try out if dealing at a convention is for you.

Dealers' den (DD): The Dealer’s Den is intended for dealers and makers of furry merchandise, physical art, books and alike, as well as artists who bring a large stock and require a more complex setup than a sketchbook and a single folder with prints. Dealers are also expected to be present and manning their tables all day the den is open.

What makes Artist Alley tables different from Dealers' Den tables?

The artist alley tables are located outside The Dealers’ Den and are based on a first come first serve principle. Since this space is open to all attendees, their big advantage is that these tables can also be used outside the Den opening hours. For the same reason artists unfortunately need to clear their tables when they leave. Selling and displaying NSFW content is prohibited in the Artist Alley at all times. Only one table per artist. 

How do I get a spot in the Dealers' Den or Artist Alley?

To apply for the Dealer’s Den, click the Dealers’ button in your registration form. Artist Alley is based on a first come first served basis, so just grab your things and show and grab a vacant table. Remember only one table per artist. 

What happens if I don’t get a spot?

If the Dealers' Den spots are full but your application has been accepted, you’ll be put on the waiting list. Sometimes people will need to cancel their table, and their slot will be moved to the next person waiting. We will contact you with further information if that is the case. You can also try your luck with an Artist Alley table if you didn’t get into the Den. 

I can’t attend, can I give my spot to a friend?

No. To keep it fair to everyone, please email us at [email protected] to have your spot moved to the next available person on the waiting list. This way we ensure everyone gets a fair chance at joining.

Are there power outlets available?

We will provide power outlets to the extent it’s possible to all dealers. Artist Alley will not be fitted with power outlets. 

What if I have a specific requirement/need?

Can I sit next to a friend?

We try our best to make it work for everyone. If both you and your friend(s) have a confirmed Den spot, please contact us via [email protected]. We can’t guarantee to sit you all together, but we’ll certainly try especially if your request arrives early.

Can I share my table?

Yes, we in fact encourage this as it allows more artists to get a table, but we need to know this beforehand. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss possibilities, make sure both you and your sharing partner are registered as Dealers and have filled out the application form.
